Konnie (“Konnie,” “we,” “us”) provides an AI phone assistant for small businesses and self-managing landlords: it answers calls on your business line, sends and receives text messages on your behalf, and gives you a web console to review and act on what happened. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Konnie is used by business owners (“customers”). When Konnie answers a call or message for a customer, the person calling or texting is that customer’s caller, tenant, or client; we process their information on the customer’s behalf to provide the service.
If you connect optional Google integrations, we access Google user data strictly as described below.
calendar.events): if
you connect your calendar, Konnie creates events for appointments
booked through the service and reads your free/busy times to avoid
double-booking. We store an encrypted token to keep the connection
alive. We do not read the contents of your other calendar events
beyond free/busy status.
Limited Use disclosure. Konnie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we do not use Google user data for advertising; we do not sell it; we do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models; and humans do not read it except with your consent, for security or abuse investigation, to comply with law, or where it has been aggregated and de-identified.
You can disconnect Google Calendar or Gmail at any time in the console settings, or revoke Konnie’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored token.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the contents of your calls, messages, or Google user data for third-party advertising.
Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in or consent information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Transcripts and related records are subject to retention limits and purge routines; you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records).
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive fields such as OAuth tokens and personal identifiers. The service is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored there. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique account credential.
If a caller or tenant contacts us about information handled on a customer’s line, we will refer the request to that customer and assist them in responding.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal; there is no common standard for it, and we do not respond to it. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.
The service is for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and adjust the effective date; material changes will be notified through the service.
